Kitchen is small

The old fire place came up a treat!

and so did the hallway

It took all day and almost 40 sanding disks!

One of the hardest days of manual labour I have ever experienced, this is sanding the hallway on our own, John showing how it was done.

Down comes the old plaster, ready for the new.

Time for cleaning,

from old to new, the sparky's been through and we are all re-wired

this guy wanted his pic taken, hope he doesn't mind it goes to a blog, any way he was one of the re-stumpers, now we have to build a new front verandah
